Why do you ask? 70% chance of snow tomorrow. I want a snow day. The kiddos do too (so I am not being completely selfish!)

Deeply Rooted '09

New Year... new design! Still Deeply Rooted.

Thanks to Ellie over at Rainy Day templates for sprucing up my blog.

I am still working out all the kinks and such, so bear with me. Computer is still with the Geek Squad too so that means none of this will be fast.

Going to head back to the books here at the library on this oh-so-rainy Saturday morning.

Back In The Fast Lane

Life in the fast line again...

I had just moved back in with my parents before I went to NY and I ended up moving out when getting back. Thank goodness I had help moving this time! My commute from Brentwood to school took about 40 minutes. Living in Hendersonville would have taken about an hour. I now have a 10 minute commute! On my route from Brentwood, I would always pass Starbucks which was always a big temptation. I limited my mornings to twice a week. My commute now has no Starbucks. I was a little sad, but thought it might be best. However, it got better. I now pass Dunkin Donuts! (Super nice because there are only like 2 in the whole Nashville area) Good coffee and a bagel for less than my Starbucks visit... Strong.

I have officially signed up for the Country Music half marathon in April. Want to join? :)

The kiddos come back to school today. I am actually pretty excited about seeing the little monsters. Who knew I would find a job that I love so much?!?!?

Sadly, my new computer has crashed so it is visiting the Geek Squad. Hopefully I will have it back next week. Until then I am emailing from work so don't count on a quick reply.

Good Morning World.

I did too much too fast. When we got back from sledding, I was in complete sick yuckiness. I went to bed at 5:30 and got up at 10am. :) A good night's sleep was exactly what I needed. Ready to take on the world today (at least from the comforts of the Lemons' house!)

Project Runway:New Years

The Lemons' house looked like a little fashion studio from Project Runway this week. Have a look at the creative juices that were flowing...

We even had to work out in the snow!

The final product... Donna and the Dynamos (from Mamma Mia). We made our lip-syncing debut at the NYE party.

Watch out future Project Runwayers, I am headed to Bryant Park!
